The dog that’s a model friend for Georgia
WITH a career in the frenetic, superficial world of modelling, Georgia May Jagger can be forgiven for demanding the highest standards of loyalty from her friends.
But when a girl needs a confidant who is the soul of discretion, one candidate takes the biscuit – her dog.
Now Miss May, 23, has told of her devotion to Daisy, a papillon spaniel, who was given to her 11 years ago. ‘We’re pretty inseparable,’ she said. ‘I protect her from the cat. She loves being on a shoot. But she gets really over-excited and then really tired.’
And when she is not protecting Daisy, Miss Jag- ger, the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, is looking out for her fellow models Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse.
She told Town & Country magazine, pictured right: ‘I’m the mummy ... of this wayward group. I’m always looking after everyone. Me and my sister [Lizzy] do it. We call it “mumming”.
‘I make sure everyone’s got dry socks at festivals, I give people jumpers and make sure they’ve had lunch. I like cooking – I’m best at slow-cooked, Sunday-roast things. It’s about making people happy.’
