FRILLY FAUX PAS

Peasant blouse, £40, topshop.com; skirt, £85, oasisstores.com; shoes, £35, asos.com I DO like the cutout lace detailing down the sleeves and actually it’s a really pretty shade of blue. But that’s about all this one has got going for it. It feels a bit like a Seventies take on an Edwardian design and the buttons all the way up to the neck and the frill just create quite a severe look.
