NEW ANIMATION Disney’s Mickey Mouse, 3.25pm, Disney Channel BRAND new series of the animation starring Disney’s most famous mouse, given a bit of a modern makeover. In the opening episode, an injured Pluto is wearing a vet’s cone, so Mickey wears one, too. Total chaos ensues. (Sky 609, Virgin 724)

RUGBY LEAGUE Leeds Rhinos v St Helens, 7.30pm, Sky Sports 2 THE Rhinos’ form coming into this heavyweigh­t Super 8s contest has been more consistent than that of the Saints, and Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield will be tough to hold back with yet another Super League trophy in his sights.

Pride, 8pm, Sky Premiere ALL the camp cliches are present and correct in this Britcom with an issues-lite theme — namely, gay support of the miners’ strike in the Eighties and the birth of the Pride movement. Right on.

WWII DRAMA

Resistance, 9pm, More4 THE second episode of the glossy French wartime drama brings home the danger of standing up to the Germans in occupied France,

especially when not everyone is on the same team. Meanwhile, Lili and the Le Gosse spend a night together at the Maison Close. Their romance might be moving fast but they are mindful that their time together could be brief.

COMEDY RETURNS

Dag, 9pm, Sky Arts NEW second series of the bone-dry Norwegian comedy about a marriage counsellor whose own personal relationsh­ips are far from functional. We find Dag (Atle Antonsen) a little worse for wear after drowning his sorrows in drink — and adopting an unorthodox approach to drying out.

ACTION THRILLER

The Fixer, 10pm, Fox THIS bold as brass four-part action thriller doesn’t hang about. Following an oil-rig disaster in the Atlantic, Ellie Molaro (Kathleen Robertson), from the National Accident Investigat­ion Agency, is informed by a buff mystery man that the catastroph­e is part of something far bigger and far uglier. It’s formulaic in the short cuts it takes but makes up for it with energy and efficiency.

LAST-EVER EPISODE Bored To Death, 12.55am, Sky Atlantic BID farewell to the cult comedy with tonight’s last-ever episode. Essentiall­y an off-kilter bromance between its three male leads, who would have thought Ted Danson, Zach Galifianak­is and Jason Schwartzma­n (pictured) would make

such a dream team?
