On the ball over a mystery snap

BACk in the pre-digital camera era, my daughter Lauren went abroad for her first holiday with her friends. when her holiday snaps arrived back in the post, she was enthusiastically talking us through the pictures when she came across one of a young man — and she had no idea who he was. There must have been a mix-up at the developers. At the time i was involved in running a Sunday football team, and about 18 months later a chap joined who had just moved from Sittingbourne in kent. i kept on thinking that i knew him from somewhere. Then i came across that wayward photograph — and it was of the same chap.
