PINK FOR A VERY TRADITIONAL GIRL
JUST like her big brother, Princess Charlotte has been dressed in rather traditional, old-fashioned clothes.
her smock dress —– with a fitted, ribbed top and full skirt — has a frilly white collar and a Liberty-style floral print in red, blue and purple.
It’s not from any of Kate’s regular go-to designers. It is instead thought to be a specially commissioned piece from Irulea, the spanish children’s wear shop where Charlotte’s nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, bought the knitted bonnet she wore to leave hospital.
Baby dresses at Irulea start at £55 and can be made in a range of bespoke prints.
Kate may have got inspiration for the pretty design from Londonbased Trotters, one of her favourite baby shops, where her mother Carole was spotted browsing the Liberty Collection in october.
Charlotte’s baby pink cardigan costs £55 and is from The White Company, while her matching pink ribbed tights are from London-based boutique Amaia and cost £11.
