FLANAGAN RETURNS

JON FLANAGAN came on in the second half for Liverpool to make his first appearance for the club in 619 days. The defender had been sidelined with a knee injury since the final day of the 2013-14 season. Former captain Steven Gerrard led the well-wishers with a message on Instagram, saying: ‘He has put so much graft in to get himself back fit... Good luck mate great to see you back and we have missed you.’
