IT’S DAY 103 of 2016

-

BRITAIN’S oldest driver is believed to be

103-year-old Italian-born Giovanni Rozzo, a former milkman from Cambridge, who has been driving since he was in his early 20s and has never had an accident. A TOTAL of 103 small defensive forts called Martello Towers were built along the south coast of England in the early 1800s in fear of an invasion by Napoleon. ONE bizarre world record is that of the number of cars which have done a ‘burnout’ at the same time — it’s 103, and was set on New Year’s Day last year in Canberra, Australia. A ‘ burnout’ is created when a stationary car spins its wheels, causing the tyres to heat up and smoke.
