MANCHESTER UNITED have held further talks over the prospective £46.6million transfer of Benfica midfielder Renato Sanches, 18. Sportsmail revealed United had opened discussions in January. They are looking to pay the fee over a four-year period but Benfica want a larger sum up front of around £38m. NICKLAS BENDTNER has had his contract terminated by Wolfsburg. The former Arsenal striker had one year left on his deal but fell out with the German club’s management over several off-field issues. Bendtner, 28, joined in 2014 and scored three goals in 31 games.
