Don’t call my food ‘clean eating’ says Deliciously Ella
REBELLION against the extreme ‘clean eating’ trend kicked off when domestic goddess Nigella Lawson condemned it as a way of masking eating disorders.
Now, food blogger Ella Mills (left) — a pioneer of the puritanical diet — has felt compelled to publicly deny it has any association with her brand, Deliciously Ella.
Ella, 24 — who was Ella Woodward before her wedding last month — says: ‘I think it’s a really negative way to look at food, and I feel it’s a real shame that the concept of clean has become synonymous with healthy for some: for me the two have nothing to do with each other.
‘All food is good as long as you enjoy it and you feel well.’
