COMING into season this week, blackberri­es -also known as brambles — are some of the best sources of brain-food around. Not only are they rich in nutrients such as magnesium and vitamins A,C, E and B, all of which are beneficial for healthy brain neurons, they’re also full of antioxidan­ts and powerful molecules called flavonoids. They are associated with everything from reduced cancer risk to improved memory.
