MILLWALL FANS RUN RIOT AT WEMBLEY

BARNSLEY fans had to flee to safety from Millwall supporters at Wembley yesterday, as a mob on the top tier tried to force their way into a Barnsley section. A few made it through the police barrier and there were clashes before they were held back. Millwall fans also threw coins towards Barnsley’s players. The Football Association said: ‘The FA condemns the disorder caused by a small number of fans. We will work closely to identify those involved.’
