At Kate’s old school, pupils as young as 13 see male stripper’s act for 6th-form prank
A TATTOOED stripper ripped off his clothes in front of pupils as young as 13 during an end-of-term prank at Kate Middleton’s old school – one of the most prestigious in the country.
Sixth- form students at £ 30,000- a- year Marlborough College – of which former pupils also include Samantha Cameron – smuggled in the man, who was dressed as a sailor and stripped down to his underwear.
The stripper was also filmed gyrating with a girl on his lap in front of 17 and 18-year-olds in the middle of the co-ed Wiltshire school.
One student claimed the sixth-formers set off smoke bombs to hide the scene – but in footage of the incident younger pupils in school uniform can clearly be seen watching nearby.
Pupils booked the stripper for Muck-Up Day, when students play pranks on their last day of school before exams. A psychologist has warned of the damaging impact such a display could have on children, while a witness said: ‘Marlborough is one of the most expensive schools in the country. Parents do not expect their children to be watching a sex show.’
But one of the prank’s organisers said he thought it was ‘hilarious’. He said most finalyear students chipped in to pay for the £100 stripper and he revealed the idea came from a former pupil who said a female stripper was smuggled into the 173-year-old school years ago. The student said: ‘We didn’t think it was that controversial as it had been done before. [The stripper] was told he was going to be there for a birthday party and then when he got there we explained the situation and smuggled him in.
‘It was just a bit of harmless fun. The pictures make it look a lot worse than it actually was. I thought it was hilarious and a good laugh.’
During the incident last Friday, the stripper peeled off his clothes, including his black underwear, to reveal a skimpy blue thong.
Teachers were last night said to be furious, fearing the prank would damage the school’s reputation. The pupil admitted: ‘The teachers did not condone it at all. They thought it was very inappropriate.’ An 18-year-old female student said yesterday: ‘Pranks like this are well known at the school. And by all accounts this was a lot tamer than some that have gone on.’
Child psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos said the stripper should never have been in a school, adding: ‘Something a 17-year-old might find funny could have a very different impact on a younger child.’ The stripper, named only as Ross, told The Sun: ‘I didn’t know I would be performing at a school until I got there. It was just a prank and I didn’t take all my clothes off.’
A Marlborough College spokesman said: ‘This was an inappropriate prank that was not condoned by the school.’
