HE admits money is no object when it comes to his loved ones.

So boxer Amir Khan had few qualms about spending £100,000 on a birthday party for his toddler daughter.

The multi-millionaire former world champion insisted the lavish celebrations for two-year-old Lamaisah were worth every penny.

But then Khan, 29, is used to splashing out – he reportedly spent £1million on his wedding to American wife Faryal three years ago.

For Lamaisah’s party, he hired Disney princesses, a Peppa Pig and a ballerina to entertain 250 guests at the Macron Stadium, home to his beloved Bolton Wanderers.

Khan told Hello! magazine: ‘When I walked in, the first thing I said was, “Wow!” My wife did an amazing job.

‘I was busy training when she was planning this, but every day I was getting crazy bills and thinking, “What’s this for?”

‘Every penny spent on my daughter is worth it, though. After all, all this hard work I do is for her, for my kid.’

Mrs Khan admitted the party was extravagant and insisted she would not be repeating it for some time.

‘I wanted it to be something really grand,’ she said. ‘Now I’m not doing anything until she’s 16.’

Khan, a former world champion who won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics, has amassed an estimated £23million fortune in his 11-year professional boxing career, being paid £9million for his most recent fight.

He and Faryal, 24, married in front of 400 people at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York in June 2013, before hosting a second celebration in Bolton for 4,000 guests.

The couple had a long- distance romance for 18 months prior to their wedding and Mrs Khan admitted it had been a struggle moving from Manhattan to her husband’s northern England hometown.

Khan’s marriage has been dogged by numerous claims linking him to other women but Mrs Khan said: ‘Now we’re at a stage in our marriage where we’re the happiest ever.’

She admitted: ‘I had a rough patch at the beginning when I got married to Amir. But as I’ve lived with him, he’s showed me a lot of things I didn’t know about him.’ Parenthood has changed Khan, she said. ‘He is such a good guy, such a kind- hearted per- son. He’s the type off guy that would give up things for his own happiness to makee his wife and child d happy. I’ve neverr seen this side of him. m.

‘ He comes homee early. Before he usedd to be out with hisis friends. But now he’s’s just like, “My wife, my child and home”.’
