Baroness Bra wants a baby with golfer beau
SiNCe being appointed a government business tsar last August and elevated to the House of Lords in October, lingerie tycoon Michele Mone appears to have a tad too much time on her hands.
she took six months to make her maiden speech in the upper chamber and her jetsetting lifestyle has continued apace with frequent jaunts to the Caribbean.
Now the 44-year-old, who has three grown- up children with her exhusband and former business partner Michael Mone, has other things on her mind: she is hankering after another baby. ‘i always wanted four,’ she says. ‘ Because i’m an only child, i wanted four, and i’ve got three.
‘i’m trying to convince my partner to have one,’ adds Mone, who is stepping out with golf pro stefan soroka. But i don’t think he’s going to have that talk. i’ve not won that argument yet, and my clock is about to run out. Tick tock.’
it will be 24 years since Michelle gave birth to her first child, Rebecca, when she was 20 years old.
After falling pregnant, she hurriedly married Michael — converting to Catholicism — before launching her bra business and having two more
children, Declan, 20, and Bethany, 17. The couple split in 2011 after 19 years and Michael went on to wed former Ultimo designer Samantha Bunn.
Mone (right), nicknamed Baroness Bra, is believed to have started dating Soroka last autumn and splits her time between the UK and Barbados, where he coaches at the luxury Sandy Lane resort.
‘I’m mega-happy, he’s an amazing guy,’ she has said of her new beau. ‘Stef has helped me sort out my path, my next chapter. We talk all the time.’
Last year, I revealed she’d borrowed Work & Pensions minister Iain Duncan Smith’s taxpayer-funded Jaguar no fewer than six times in her role as a business tsar. Perhaps he should put a midwife on standby as well.
