Remain in misery
We are, of course, in the eu at present and have a huge national deficit; we also have austerity measures, a massive housing shortage, overcrowded schools and hospitals in crisis.
Our police are understaffed, our prisons overcrowded, we cannot deport foreign criminals, social services are understaffed, the Border Force is a farce, the fire services are reduced, and our Army, Navy and Air Force weakened by repeated budget cuts.
Our roads are overcrowded with inadequate money for repairs, our industries are closing and we might soon not have enough electricity.
High Street shops are closing, and there are no plans for how we will accommodate future population growth forecast by the Office for National Statistics.
Is this the wonderful Britain that the ‘Remain’ campaign is offering if we stay in the eu — more of the same?
On the other hand, if we leave we can control our own destiny, and stop paying vast sums to the eu to prop up an increasing number of economically weak countries.
We will have more of our own taxpayers’ money to spend on improving all these problem areas.
