I WAS gratefully impressed by Quentin Letts’s loyalty to his Haynes manual when looking after his much-beloved Land Rover (Mail).

Like the newspaper industry, we at Haynes are facing the challenges of retaining our print capabilities and developing new digital platforms, and our company is going through considerable changes.

However, my father, John Haynes, created what has become an iconic British brand more than 60 years ago, and I can assure the many thousands of loyal supporters we will continue to publish of Haynes’ manuals, which will supply muchneeded advice and help for drivers and DIY experts such as Quentin Letts for many years to come.
