Yes, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling ( right) could have done more with the ball, but they played at a Premier league tempo and I liked that. That’s what is needed against Wales.

I’ve often wondered why England try to change their game when they could play at a Premier league tempo, the pace the players are used to every week. Of course you would have to be more cute and subtle against better opposition, such as Spain or germany. But we’ve fallen into the trap too often of trying to play their game. let’s take Premier league pace and dominance into the game against Wales and see how they cope.
