KUNG FU PAYET Bilic joy after his boy keeps French flying

- IAN LADYMAN in Marseille

DIMITRI PAYET provided the knockout blow as hosts France beat Albania last night to become the first team into the last 16 of Euro 2016.

The West Ham playmaker, 29, fired his second goal of the tournament in stoppage-time after Antoine Griezmann broke the deadlock on 90 minutes.

Payet celebrated by kung-fu kicking a corner flag, while his club boss Slaven Bilic reacted by leaping on the table in ITV’s Paris studio.

Pundit Bilic was thrilled at the goal — a weaving run and a curling shot — saying: ‘He is brilliant at that.’
