Geldof the cowboy goes bananas
GIVEN his banana yellow suit and large cowboy hat, you wouldn’t be alone in thinking that Bob Geldof was wearing fancy dress.
The 64-year-old certainly stood out as he attended a birthday party in South-West London yesterday.
The Boomtown Rats singer was pictured on his way to the 60th birthday bash of former supermodel Jerry Hall – and if the invitation said fancy dress, then that would explain his cowboy-themed outfit. In keeping with his theme, Geldof wore his suit with a white shirt and silver buckle belt, dark glasses and bolo tie while strolling towards the venue in upmarket Richmond Hill.
Geldof is a close friend of Miss Hall, whose birthday fell on Saturday. He also attended her wedding to media mogul Rupert Murdoch in March.
