NATURE’S SECRETS Forces Of Nature, 9pm, BBC1 BRIAN COX (pictured) presents a new series looking at the laws of nature that shape our planet — and the universe beyond. In his usual, supremely accessible style, Brian explains why the Earth is spherical, why gigantic icebergs float and, in Catalonia, Spain, uses a particularly dramatic example to demonstrate the mighty forces of gravity. REAL-LIFE DRAMA 999: What’s Your Emergency? 9pm, Ch4 THIS heart-stopping series returns to focus on the work of the dedicated police and paramedics in Cheshire. The tension builds as the action follows an incident from the moment a 999 call is made to the arrival of emergency services, often in the nick of time.
GRAND FINALE The Great British Sewing Bee, 9.30pm,p, BBC2 JJUDGES Patrick Grant and Esme Young (pictured wwith Claudia Winkleman) crown this year’s qqueen bee. Over ththe past seven weeks, the contestants have made 147 garments — and nnow, only three remain.
