Toure’s agent: City will lose fans in Africa
YAYA TOURE will look to sign a pre-contract agreement with another European club in January — with his agent claiming that Manchester City have lost African followers after Pep Guardiola’s decision to omit him from their 21-man Champions League squad.
Toure, from the Ivory Coast, will consider offers this winter with a view to leaving on a free when his contract expires at the end of June.
Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk told Sportsmail: ‘They will lose millions of supporters from Africa because of this decision from Guardiola. Now they will support Manchester United. A lot of people in Africa say they will never see any more matches of City on TV.’
Seluk added: ‘Yaya is in very good condition. Maybe that’s not good enough for Guardiola, but then Zlatan Ibrahimovic wasn’t good enough for him.’
