LOOK WHO GOT THE LAST WORD

THE nine-month custody battle between Madonna and her former husband Guy Ritchie has now been resolved. Their 16-year-old son Rocco will stay in London with his father, who has three young children with his second wife, model Jacqui Ainsley. The matter was eventually settled out of court and it is clearly the outcome that Rocco himself desired. However, it is certainly not what his mother wanted. Madonna has made no secret of the fact that she believes her ex-husband is too lenient with their son. And after the case was settled, she took her grievances onto social media, as usual. Posting a photo of herself wearing a hoodie with the word Bitch emblazoned beneath (left), she wrote: because sometimes soccer moms need to be a . . . I agree with her — parents need to set boundaries instead of trying to be best friends with their children. However, what is really interesting is not just that Madonna must ALWAYS have the last word, she must be publicly seen to have the last word, too. No wonder the dispute dragged on so long.
