Does the food industry think we are idiots? The craze for using the term ‘farm’ in the names of products is misrepre- sentation when these ‘farms’ do not exist. I have even seen one label claiming fish came from a non-existent loch.

One of the worst examples of mislabelli­ng is ‘Manuka-style’ honey. Manuka costs the earth because of the claims it has unique medical properties. To label anything ‘style’ is misleading as it leads people to believe they are getting the real thing.
