Trump ‘rigged vote on US Apprentice’
THE U.S. presidential election is rigged, Donald Trump has claimed.
But the bombastic singer Meat Loaf believes Trump was guilty of ‘fixing’ the result of the Celebrity Apprentice, when he appeared before The Donald on the show.
Asked what it was like to be fired by Trump, Loaf tells me: ‘I won.’
So how come millions of viewers watched Loaf, who finished third in the series, being fired by Trump?
‘I won,’ repeats the singer, in town to launch a Bat Out Of Hell West End musical, with steely certainty.
Loaf contends that he was the moral victor since the other celebrities ‘already knew’ that Trump had chosen his two finalists before the competition began: ‘I came in third, so I won.’
Trump will no doubt claim victory whatever the result of Tuesday’s vote.
