-

As well as the fantastic doublesided map of Britain and Ireland inside today’s paper, we’re giving you the chance to claim a FREE vintage map of your postcode.

These maps, printed on highquality A3 (420mm x 297mm) silk paper, are reproduced from the Ordnance survey Revised New series (1897-1904 for england and wales) and the scottish Third edition (1903-11) — and were the first maps of Britain produced in colour.

Originally published at one inch to the mile (1:63,360) these have been digitally enhanced and enlarged to 1:40,000. each map covers an area of approximately 9x6 miles, centred on the postcode provided.

we are also offering you the chance to claim a dual Now & Then A3 print comprising two maps of the same postcode.

One is from the Revised New series and the other uses present-day Ordnance survey mapping at a 1:40,000 scale, providing a side-by-side comparison of how your area has changed over the century. each of the two maps also covers an area of approximately 6x3.75 miles and is printed on high-quality silk paper.
