The PM has replaced her subtle silver pendants with an impressive collection of bold beads — dubbed by fashion commentators her ‘power necklaces’.

she’s recently sported a £ 245 Amanda Wakeley chain- link choker ( right), a £ 103 blue necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane and a £ 90 white chunky chain from Pebble London.

The effect, says style and brand expert Nick ede, is to divert the eye away from her waist and to balance out her broad shoulders.
