Bookie scores with pound

PADDY Power Betfair cashed in on the weak pound and international football.

The bookie expects annual profits to be between £390m and £405m. Revenues jumped 25pc to £404m in the three months to the end of September. This included a £28m boost from sterling’s fall making euro earnings more valuable. It also benefited from Portugal unexpectedly winning Euro 2016.
