THE BOYS say he’s had a tough life because he’s 25 and losing his hair! They reckon he takes it out on opposition wingers. He’s no-holds-barred and as committed as they come. A fans’ favourite.
3 SAM HABERGHAM Left back
HAD HIM at Braintree. We call him ‘seven’ (as in 7/10) because he’s just so consistent. A physique any footballer could dream of. Like a Greek Adonis and has unbelievable focus. A model pro.
5 LUKE WATERFALL Captain, centre back
OUR CAPTAIN. A big physical defender who is always doing extras and leads by example with the way he trains. They don’t make them like him any more.
25 SEAN RAGGETT Centre back
UNBELIEVABLE in the gym. So powerful. A lovely boy, very quiet but can be anyone he wants to be. Ridiculously competitive and a fighter, too, but isn’t allowed to go to ground in training.
8 ALAN POWER Central midfielder
LONGEST-SERVING player at the club. 196 appearances. The club’s had some tough times while he’s been here and it’s pleasing for him that we’ve had the success we’ve had with him as a key player.
30 ALEX WOODYARD Central midfielder
GONE FROM being under us at Concord Rangers, Braintree and now to here and England C captain. He’s a one-off. We’re mightily proud of what he’s achieved.
11 TERRY HAWKRIDGE Left winger
REALLY pleased with Tel. A fantastically gifted footballer. Can play with both feet and a very technical player with bags of composure. Quality delivery, too.
28 NATHAN ARNOLD Right winger
IT’S VERY rare you get a player with superb talent and a superb attitude but Nathan, who scored the winner against Ipswich, has both. He gets an A* for talent and an A* for attitude. A really good role model for all the younger players. Cuts the players’ hair, too.
9 MATT RHEAD Striker
LIKES to be the pantomime villain with the opposition fans. A superb professional and so talented. He’s probably never given the respect he deserves as a player. More than a battering ram.
31 THEO ROBINSON Striker
COULDN’T get more of a contradiction as a person because he’s about as laid-back as they come. He’s horizontal off the pitch but on it he’s a really hard worker. Six goals in the FA Cup this season.
10 ADAM MARRIOTT Supersub
MAZZA. What a talented footballer he is. Helped get us to this stage off the bench with his pass for Nathan in the last round. He’s our Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

THE ONLY one who’s played in the Premier League. We’re West Ham fans so have always known him from there. When he walks in everyone is 10 per cent happier. Knows how to work a dressing room, tactically excellent… he’s brilliant for us. More than just a goalkeeping coach.
