Mr Rotavator jailed over sex spy camera

A FORMER BBC gardening expert was jailed for a year yesterday for planting a camera in a bathroom air freshener in order to spy on women in the shower.

Stephen Brookes, known as Mr Rotavator, set up a motionactivated device that sent footage straight to his iPhone in real time, Warwick Crown Court was told. The camera was pointed towards the shower in the mornings and evenings, and at the toilet during the day.

Brookes used the camera to spy on seven women at a property he owned over a period of almost a year. The 55-year-old, from Stratford-upon-Avon, admitted voyeurism. He was arrested after one of his victims discovered the camera.
