Eighty countries were evaluated across criteria such as economic influence, citizenship and quality of life.
Switzerland took top spot with Canada, which was first for quality of life, in second place overall. In the survey of more than 21,000 people, Britain was seen as more politically influential and better connected to the rest of the world than Germany.
