CELLS FOR VEGETABLES

IT’S STILL too early, and too cold, for sowing vegetable seeds straight into the ground. So, to steal a march on the season, use cell trays, then plant out later. For large seeds, it’s one per cell. With smaller seeds, sow as few as you can into each cell. Keep sown trays in a cold frame, and plant while the seedlings are still young but growing well.
