Mariella’s VERY middle- class Mother’s Day

IS THIS Britain’s most middle- class Mother’s Day card? Husky broadcaster Mariella Frostrup shared a photo online of the handmade card she was sent by one of her two children, which reads: ‘Mummy I love you more than avocados.’

Mariella, 54, who has a 13-year-old daughter, Molly, and son, Danny, 12, with her husband, human rights lawyer Jason McCue, remarked: ‘Praise indeed!’

Her famous friends were hugely impressed. Eco-campaigner Livia Firth, wife of Oscar-winner Colin, commented ‘That’s a lot!’, while interior designer Bella Marshall gushed: ‘Setting the bar frighteningly high.’
