Ken could take Labour to court over Hitler row

KEN Livingstone said yesterday that he would threaten the Labour Party with a judicial review if he is expelled for breaking its rules.

The former London mayor, pictured, said taking the party to court was the ‘obvious’ next step if his membership is revoked for his remarks about Adolf Hitler.

His comments came as he arrived for the second day of his private disciplinary hearing in Westminster. The Labour veteran was suspended last April last year after claiming that Hitler supported Zionism in the 1930s before he ‘went mad and ended up killing six million Jews’.

On day one of the hearing he insisted he had nothing to apologise for as he attended a Labour Party misconduct panel. The hearing continues.
