Patsy looks for hubby number five... on Tinder!
SHE has dated some of the most famous men in Britain but it seems even Patsy Kensit isn’t above using the internet to find love.
Male hopefuls were left swooning when a youthfullooking photo of the actress cropped up on the popular dating app Tinder.
The single mother of two has been married four times – most notably to Oasis star Liam Gallagher – but as a selfconfessed romantic has refused to give up on finding her Mr Right.
Using her full name Patricia, her profile informs users she is 49 and is captioned: ‘Patsy is a modern girl in a modern world’, a source told the Sunday Mirror.
Tinder, which has an estimated 50million active users worldwide, matches singles with potential partners via their smartphones, swiping left to say no and right for yes. The former Emmerdale star once famously said she’s only ever had four boyfriends and married them all – something that will no doubt be of interest to Tinder users hoping to bag a date.
Miss Kensit’s career began at the age of four when she advertised Bird’s Eye frozen peas. She has since appeared in major films alongside the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Mia Farrow.
The actress has also starred in Holby City, but really it has been the men in her life that have earned Miss Kensit the most headlines. Her ex- husbands include Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr, with whom she had son James, 24, a businessman, and Gallagher, father of her other boy Lennon, 17. Miss Kensit’s other failed marriages were with musician Dan Donovan and DJ Jeremy Healy, with whom she split in 2010.
She described Gallagher as ‘the love of my life’, but this has not deterred Miss Kensit from looking once more. She said in 2014: ‘I have to say at this point that I am a hopeless romantic. I truly am. I do believe in love and still believe in love and shall continue to do so.’ Other famous faces to have had Tinder accounts include singers Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry.
Miss Kensit’s representatives were contacted for comment but had not replied last night.
