Putting the tea in BT

-

I’m nOT surprised to hear that BT Openreach is struggling to reach its installation targets. On Friday, march 10, at 8am, an Openreach van came to the house next door and its occupants put up a ladder. another van arrived and after a chat, a tea break was taken at around 8.30am.

at 9am there was more chatting in the street and another tea break. at about 9.30am the ladder was removed and put in the van, signalling time for another tea break.

The second van then left, but the first remained in the street, its occupants having more tea before driving off.

my husband, who is 60, works a ten-hour day with just one hour allowed for breaks. He is obviously in the wrong job.
