KOEMAN HAILS IBRAHIMOVIC

EVERTON boss Ronald Koeman has dubbed Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘one of the best’, insisting he never doubted the Manchester United striker would take to the Premier League. Koeman has put his defence on red alert for tonight’s clash, stating how impressed he has been with the Swede since his arrival at Old Trafford. ‘I’m not surprised. He’s still one of the best,’ said Koeman. ‘I managed Zlatan when he was young and sometimes also difficult! He was funny but we had a lot of young players — really big talents at that time — but all were 19, driving Ferraris. ‘If we speak about that time at Ajax, he knows how he was.’ Everton will go to Old Trafford with the same young side who faced Liverpool on Saturday. Tom Davies is expected to continue in midfield and the 18-year-old has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2022.
