But when your wedding will be attended by royalty, it’s particularly important none of your guests causes a stir in the lead-up to your big day.
So Pippa Middleton is unlikely to be impressed that, just weeks before she marries James Matthews, his brother, who will be best man, has raised eyebrows after being spotted with a mystery blonde while his girlfriend was away.
Reality TV star Spencer Matthews, 27, was seen being ‘flirty and tactile’ with the woman as they drank with friends outside a restaurant in Notting Hill. Around ten hours later, at 2am, the pair were seen returning to his flat in the upmarket area of Chelsea.
His girlfriend, model Vogue Williams, 31, was in her native Ireland at the time.
A source told The Sun: ‘Spencer was told in no uncertain terms to be on his best behaviour in the run-up to the wedding. His family know there will be a lot of attention, and they want it to be focused on Pippa and James for their big day – not on him. They will not be too impressed to see these pictures with just weeks to go until the big day.’
Matthews, who went to Eton, became known as a lothario on TV show Made in Chelsea. He has previously boasted about taking drugs and claimed to have slept with more than 1,000 women.
His hedge fund manager brother James, 41, will marry Miss Middleton on May 20, with a reception at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, West Berkshire. Her sister and brother-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be there, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte as page boy and bridesmaid.
