NEW HAND LUGGAGE RULES

ON ALL flights to the UK from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, passengers are barred from carrying on electronics larger than a smart phone — that’s 16cm long, 9.3cm wide and 1.5cm deep.

Any laptops, tablets and e-readers — plus accessories such as keyboards and power supplies go in the hold. Headphones are still allowed in hand luggage. These rules also apply to any items bought at the airport, even those purchased airside.
