2 charged over burglary killing
TWO men were last night charged with the murder of a marketing executive killed during a raid on his £1million home.
Jason Baccus, 41, and Scott Keeping, 44, from Bournemouth, will appear before magistrates today charged with murder and aggravated burglary.
The pair are accused of killing 61-yearold Guy Hedger during a burglary in St Ives, Dorset, on the outskirts of the New Forest, at 3am on Sunday.
Mr Hedger was shot in front of his partner of 12 years, Simon-Pierre Hedger-Cooper. The intruders fled with designer watches and jewellery.
A man of 40 from the Blandford area of Dorset arrested on suspicion of murder is still being questioned by detectives.
A fourth suspect, Helen Keeping, 40, from Bournemouth, is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Connolly, said yesterday: ‘Family liaison officers have updated Guy’s family with this development and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.’
