It’s then down to you, with a little help from the wardens, to see what prehistoric discoveries your family can make. In beautiful Bournemouth, there are exciting new beach lodges to stay in, overlooking seven miles of golden beach. They are dog-friendly and come complete with showers, wi-fi and cooking facilities. There’s lots to do at the coastal activity park, including beach yoga and snorkelling, while one of Britain’s best air shows takes place here in August — and it’s free!
