FRONTIER Smart Technologies jumped after announcing full-year profits are likely to be ahead of expectations.

The firm provides technology for digital radio and smart audio devices. Revenues over the last six months have been significantly ahead of the same period last year. Frontier has seen strong growth in Europe driven by an EU directive which aims to better regulate the radio market. It has also seen unexpectedly high growth in Germany. Shares rose 6.6pc, or 5.5p, to 89p.
