BRUCE’S SCARS AFTER OPS TO REMOVE MOLES

STEVE BRUCE turned up looking battered and bruised for Aston Villa’s press conference yesterday, but explained the scars were caused by the removal of moles. Before the Villa manager discussed tomorrow’s clash with Brighton, he explained that he’d had surgery to remove two moles which had left scars on his forehead and near his eye. Bruce (above) said: ‘I do apologise for the way I look. Before you go any further, I’ve had two moles removed and it’s not very pleasant. ‘I was going to tell you I joined in training this week and rattled a few!’
