COLEMAN PENS NEW CONTRACT WITH EVERTON

SEAMUS COLEMAN has been given a boost in his recovery from a double leg break by signing a new five-year contract. The Everton defender suffered the injury in the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Wales in March. Coleman, who is unlikely to play until 2018, said: ‘I’m delighted to get this signed. I’ve been here for a long time and it’s a special club that means a lot to me.’
