GEORGE MICHAEL’S ex-lover Kenny Goss has given interviews describing the last years of the Wham! star’s life.

The once- beautiful hearthrob became a fat, dope-smoking, junk-foodgorging idiot, constantly high on drugs and too timid to leave his home, says Goss. except when he ventured out to have sex with strangers on Hampstead Heath. Goss says he’s revealing the truth to promote the charitable Goss-Michael Foundation, which supports those in the grip of addiction. Maybe so.

But what a shocking, callous betrayal. How different from George, who, whatever his faults, was a model of discretion and loyalty, writing classic pop songs and giving a fortune to good causes without telling a soul.
