Look who’s back - on ITV
HE shocked his devoted viewers when he left Saturday Kitchen to reclaim his weekends last year.
Chef James Martin, 44, said he was looking forward to ‘lots of lie-ins’ after departing from the BBC show he presented for a decade.
Now he’s set to return on Saturdays – but on rival station ITV. His new show, Saturday Morning, will be recorded earlier in the week so he will still have those precious weekends to himself. The new format will also allow him to present from home.
Martin said of his new show yesterday: ‘ITV is ... a wonderful broadcaster and an absolute pleasure to work with.’
