Brucie back on his feet at last

SIR Bruce Forsyth is ‘back on his feet’ after suffering five nights in intensive care with a chest infection.

The 89-year-old, pictured, was forced to cancel all public and personal engagements after falling seriously ill in March.

But the veteran entertainer’s wife of 34-years, Wilnelia Merced, said he was doing ‘much better’ and that they were waiting for the warmer weather before he could be taken outside. The former Miss World, 59, told The Sun: ‘He’s doing really well. [Recovering] slowly but we are waiting for the really hot weather so we can start taking him out. He’s walking around now, slowly but he is.’
