Bassey? Shirley some mistake

AT FIRST, I thought Shirley Bassey was the new Strictly Come Dancing head judge, replacing Len Goodman. Then I realised it was someone called Shirley Ballas.

More interestingly, Ballas’s husband had a relationship with Strictly’s husband-hoover Kristina Rihanoff who also tangoed with contestants Joe Calzaghe and Ben Cohen.

Kristina is not on the show at the moment because she’s had Cohen’s baby — I guess it will be a very long maternity leave now Ballas has landed the top job.
