Mrs Clegg’s rubbish blow for feminism

NICK CLEGG’S lawyer wife Miriam Gonzalez Durantez did her bit for feminism this week — by putting out the rubbish.

‘Breaking down the gender boundaries,’ she captioned this image of herself (left), mocking Theresa May’s remark on the BBC’s The One Show that there are boy jobs and girl jobs around the house. ‘According to the British Prime Minister, putting out the rubbish is a “boy’s job”!’

Her impressionable friend Livia Firth, wife of Oscar-winner Colin, responded ‘genius’.

In the interests of gender parity, perhaps Miriam, 48, could post a picture of Nick ironing in his frilly pinny?
