Mary Berry the card sharp

HER squeaky-clean image is second only to that of the Queen, but baking guru Mary Berry has been exposed . . . as a cheat at cards.

Her former Great British Bake Off presenting co-star, Mel Giedroyc, recalls: ‘We had a lot of downtime on Bake Off, because when there’s a bake that is taking four hours to prove, there’s only a limited amount of questions you can ask someone. So we got into playing cards, with Mary sometimes trying to cheat.’ Shocking!
