AS any television actor knows, some scenes take a few attempts to get just right.
And so it has proved for Sean Bean, with the 58-year-old making his fifth trip down the aisle on Thursday.
He married Ashley Moore, who is 26 years his junior, in a ceremony in Dorset.
The former nanny, who wore a dress from designer Alice Temperley, met Bean five years ago in New York.
The guests were 40 ‘close family and friends’ including actress Anna Friel who stars with Bean in Broken, according to a spokesman. They said: ‘Anna’s daughter Gracie was a bridesmaid and sang them a song. He’s super happy, I’ve never seen him as in love and committed and happy as with Ashley. They’re very sweet together.’ But Bean’s filming schedule means the honeymoon is on hold. The Game of Thrones star, from Sheffield, has made millions from his career which boomed with TV roles in Lady Chatterley and Sharpe and films such as Patriot Games.
He married school sweetheart Debra James in 1981, but they broke up when he met fellow Rada student Melanie Hill, whom he married in 1990. They had two daughters but split in 1997 and Bean married Abigail Cruttenden, whom he met on the set of ITV series Sharpe, in November that year. Their daughter was born the next year, but they split when she was only a few months old.
He wed actress Georgina Sutcliffe in 2008 but their marriage lasted just two years.
